Sicily Tour Itinerary

Day 1, Sept. 18

Depart for Catania, Sicily.  Arrive two hours early for check-in.

 

Day 2, Sept. 19

Arrive in Catania, transfer to Siracusa.  Check in to Hotel Mercure Siracusa Promoteo.

Day 3, Sept. 20

Walking Tour of Archeaological Park near hotel.  (Comfortable shoes susggested.)

Day 4, Sept. 21

Walking Tour of old town, Ortigia. 

  

Day 5, Sept.22

Agrigento/Palermo - Depart Siracuse.  Tour the ruins in Agrigento on way to Palermo.  Check into Eurostars Centrale Palace Hotel.

Day 6, Sept. 23

 Street Food Tour of Palermo near City Centre

Day 7, Sept 24

Free day in Palermo

​

Day 8, Sept. 25

Early morning ferry ride to Lipari (pack all belongings), followed by boat tour through Aeolian Islands.  Arrive in Panarea.  Check into Hotel Lisca Bianca

Day 9, Sept. 26

Free day on the Island.

Day 9, Sept. 27

Possible Ferry ride to Salinas - Winery Tour at Colosi Vineyards

Day 10, Sept. 28

 Ferry departure back to Mainland-   Bus ride to UNA Hotel Naxos

​

Day 11, Sept. 29

  Free Day to Explore Taormina or Beach in Naxos.

​

Day 12, Sept. 30

Tour of either Godfather movie or Mt. Etna (tbd)

Day 13, Oct. 1

Depart Catania for U.S..
